By entering the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre's Christmas competition you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
2. LOTTERY RULES
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
2.4 The competition commences on Thursday 29 July 2010 at 9.00am AEST and concludes on Wednesday 29 September 2010 at 5.00pm AEST ("the competition period").
2.5 In order to enter the competition, participants click the link to be taken to the virtual hamper and select a hamper item to see if there is a prize attached to it.The participant can then choose to go into major prize draw.
2.6 In order to go into the draw for the major prize, participants need to submit a request for proposal by completing the online form.Participants may only submit one request for proposal per event for one entry into the major prize draw. If the participant requires a proposal for more than one event, the participant may make another request for proposal and receive another entry into the draw by using the back button on the web browser.
3. PRIZES
3.1 The prizes consist of ten (10) minor prizes - AUD50.00 Bayside Lounge vouchers and one (1) major prize - Chef's Table lunch for 12 people to the value of AUD1,200.00. All prizes are valid for 12 months from Tuesday 5 October 2010.
3.1.1 Use of prizes is subject to availability.
3.2 The major prize will be drawn on Tuesday 5 October 2010 at 10.00am at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
3.3 The minor prize winners will be selected by a pre-determined lottery. The major prize winner will be selected by lucky draw from the pool of all entries received.
3.4 To claim the minor prize, winners will need to present the voucher to the Bayside Lounge at the time of use. To claim the major prize, the winner will need to make a booking by contacting corporate sales on 9282 5124.
3.5 Winners of the minor prizes will be notified instantly during the competition. These winners will be contacted by email to obtain a mailing address in order to mail the prize.The winner of the major prize will be notified by phone and a letter advising them of their prize.
3.6 Results will be published on the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre website, www.scec.com.au by Monday 11 October.
3.7 Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken for cash.
3.8 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all conditions of use of the prize.
3.9 The promoter's decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
4. LOTTERY DETAILS
4.1 Due to the nature of the lottery, participants have a 1 in 140 chance of winning a minor prize. The chance of winning the major prize is dependent on the number of entries/requests for proposals received.
4.2 At the end of the lottery, all existing claims to prizes and entitlements will be met notwithstanding the advertised prize pool has been exceeded.
4.3 Printing errors or other quality control matters outside the control of individual players will not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize.
